Welcome to GEMA

GEMA is your healthcare guidelines management platform for managing prior authorization workflows, clinical guidelines, and patient records in one place. When you sign in, you land on the main dashboard, which shows an overview of your team’s activity and any pending tasks that need attention.

The left-hand navigation bar is your primary way of moving between areas of the application. From there you can reach Patients, Tasks, Communications, Guidelines, and configuration areas, depending on the permissions your administrator has granted you. The top header bar contains a notification bell for urgent items, a business-unit selector if your organization uses multiple units, and your account menu in the top-right corner.

If you are new to GEMA, start by exploring the Patients section to look up members, or check your Tasks queue to see any prior authorization reviews waiting for you. Use this Knowledge Base to learn what each section does and how to navigate it effectively.
